SERVE

where should you serve?

You have a set of talents and gifts that uniquely equip you to make a difference. So serve in a situation that will allow you to use those talents and gifts. Think about the following three questions and join the team that makes the most sense, regarding who you are. And if you're not sure, then the best way to find out is to jump in! Think about these questions: What are your passions? What is your personality? What are your gifts?

One of the best ways to get connected at FBC is to find a place to serve using your unique, God-given talents and gifts. Jesus showed us that life was to be done in community, and great things happen when we serve others. Join one of our serving teams today!

Serving Teams

Welcome Team

Help those who are new to FBC feel welcome and at home. This includes campus hosts, greeters, information hosts, and ushers. Led by Cheryl Moroney.

Worship Service Support

Helping to create an environment of grace and an experience where people can encounter God where they are as they discover their part in His story. This includes many different facets of service from behind-the-scenes prep and set up to musicians on the platform to sound, video, computer, and lighting production teams.

God's Kitchen

Providing a hot, nutritious meal in the Fellowship Hall each Sunday afternoon to the under-resourced and homeless people in our community. Crews begin setup and cooking directly after the Worship service and serve the meal at 2:30 PM.

We provide this meal in a safe environment, to provide a listening ear, and to build relationships which can provide the path to Jesus. Led by Ed Lockhart.

Join us as we practice Matthew 25:35:

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”

[Note: due to Covid, we are unable to currently provide God’s Kitchen. As circumstances change in the coming months, we will let you know when we reopen.]

Providing clothing to the homeless and under-resourced people of our community. We want to show Christ’s love to each person, treat all with respect and dignity, and pray for individual needs. We seek to encourage by providing New Testaments, and “being the light” to people who need light. Led by Wanda Qualls. All are welcome to join our volunteer staff.
